It was in 1930 that Muhammed Manal was the founder of The Himalayan Drug Company. Their headquarters and headquarters company are located in Bengaluru (Karnataka). It manufactures primarily health-related products and has a variety of products that are based on Ayurvedic herbs. Himalaya published a message on its social media accounts on the 14th of October in which it stated that fake posts or WhatsAppforwards were being posted about Himalaya. It said that the companyis professional operated and has integrity. The company recommended that anyone who posted or forward the fake message must take it down immediately or seek legal actions.

It's not the first time that Himalaya Drug Co is dealing with such an issue. Similar messages were circulated on WhatsApp and other social media platforms in March 2020. Many posts suggesting it was the case that Himalaya Drug Company funds terrorists were inundating social media with photos of Philipe Haydon (President and CEO of Himalaya Drug Company). The post also mentioned the fact that M. Manal, the founder of Himalaya Drug Company was shown in the photograph.

The company also issued an apology at the moment, which stated that the majority of posts about Himalaya on social networks are fake. The company also stated it was Himalaya Drug Company was a pre-independence wellness brand "Made In India", which follows the religion "healing".
